Estate Waiheke Island Sauvignon Blanc

This estate grown Waiheke Sauvignon Blanc exhibits fresh herb, nettles and gooseberry characters and contains a splash of Sémillon, creating a wine that is fresh and crisp, in a dry fruity style. The Sauvignon Blanc adds the pungency to the aromas and the Sémillon adds a remarkable ‘chalky’ minerality to the wine which, over time, will develop into a wonderfully toasted muesli/tropical fruit character.

Estate Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec

The Man O’ War Bordeaux blend exhibits ripe aromatic notes of dark berry fruits, cocoa and liquorice with complementary floral, spice and coffee characters. The palate is rich and supple with exuberant sweet fruit balanced with fresh natural acidity and fine grained tannins. The fermentation of whole berries in the ferment has promoted the fruitfulness of the vintage and the gentle extraction has resulted in a fine tannin structure. Made of the 5 traditional varieties of Bordeaux; primarily Merlot, Cabernet franc and Malbec with a small percentages of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
