The shining and golden hall in Norse mythology where the souls of fallen Viking warriors chosen by Odin feasted with the gods, the name Valhalla is conferred upon our finest barrels of chardonnay selected by our winemaker each year.

The aromas are of milk chocolate and blackberry bush with hints of red berry. The palate begins again with the character of milk chocolate and red berry with a very soft texture from having low acidity balancing the dryness and minerality of the wine. The wine finishes clean and fresh and is an ideal wine for summer drinking.

The 2010 Man O’ War Chardonnay has subtle layers of fresh stone fruit and delicate floral and mineral notes. The palate is softly textured with understated power balanced with a fresh acid focus. The wine finishes with great length and characters of just ripe, fresh stone fruit; crunchy, fresh and vibrant.

With exotic tropical fruit, fresh herbs and citrus notes this vintage of Sauvignon Blanc displays characters found right across the ripening spectrum for Sauvignon and is balanced by fresh vibrant acidity and wonderful concentration. This Sauvignon made exclusively from our estate Waiheke vineyards displays both classic notes with the excitement of showcasing regional diversity in New Zealand's best known grape variety.

Classic Sémillon characters of chalk dust and fresh herbs with complex fennel bulb characters from the wild Sauvignon. The palate is focused and structured with tense acidity and ripe fruit tannins giving persistence and clarity.

This, the first vintage of Exiled displays intense spice characteristic of ripe Pinot Gris ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg with hints of citrus and floral notes. On the palate it’s natural sweetness is balanced with an outstanding minerality and freshness with a grapefruit finish lending length and persistence.

Ponui Island is located to the south east of Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf. It is here that we have chosen to grow Pinot Gris where cool sea breezes temper the south facing slopes.
