Our wines are a translation of our land as such we produce two differing styles of wine to communicate the diversity and spectacular rugged nature of our vineyards.

 

Ironclad Waiheke Island Bordeaux Blend

Ironclad is named in honour of the 19th Century warships characterised by the iron armour bolted onto their wooden hulls, much as iron courses through the veins of our warm clay hillside vineyards.

The shining and golden hall in Norse Mythology where the souls of fallen Viking warriors chosen by Odin feasted with the gods, the name Valhalla is conferred upon our finest barrels of Chardonnay selected each vintage by our winemaker.

Exiled Pinot Gris

Surrounded by boulders of the Stony Batter our Gravestone vineyards, this title also reflects that Gravestone has it’s foundations in the Bordeaux Graves style. Named in tribute to Napoleon's final place of exile where he was banished after his defeat wat Waterloo. Exiled is awarded to our most prixed Pinot Gris.
